HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026

2025 was a year that tested patience, resilience, and creativity across the entire U.S. immigration landscape. Processing backlogs, inconsistent adjudications, shifting interpretations, and enforcement priorities made it harder than ever for families, students, entrepreneurs, and skilled workers to navigate the system. We saw the toll it took on our clients, their families, and the businesses and communities that rely on them. For a recap of some of the most memorable actions taken against foreign nationals in 2025, CLICK HERE.

Despite everything, we watched our clients get their O-1 visas, work on films and TV shows,  launch companies, win awards, secure degrees, reunite with loved ones, and build new lives in the United States. We’re certain that the upheaval is temporary and will pass.

At Global Talent, we secured more than 300 approvals this year with an O-1 approval rate of 97%. We’ve introduced coaching services to help prepare applicants for O-1 and EB-1 applications. We’ve continued securing O-1’s and EB-1’s for high level crew members, including producers, directors, DPs, editors, sound engineers, and others who are driving the innovative vertical series industry.

While we expect another roller coaster ride in 2026, hope is not lost. â€‹

✨ O-1 Approval Rates remain high.

✨ There is a continued demand for skilled workers. U.S. employers remain hungry for specialized workers. That demand strengthens the case for O-1, EB-1, NIW, STEM pathways, H-1Bs, and emerging programs.

✨ More digital modernization.  Despite tough policy changes, logistically, USCIS did expand  online filings, and we saw faster biometrics reuse, and better digital notices.

Our Commitment

As we enter 2026, our focus remains the same:

  • providing information and guidance as new initiatives are rolled out;

  • advocating fiercely for our clients, and

  • finding strategic pathways even when the road gets bumpy.

It wasn’t an easy year, but it was a year full of reminders that immigration is ultimately about possibility. We are grateful to our clients, colleagues, and partners for trusting us through the highs and the lows.

Here’s to a 2026 filled with opportunity, progress, and (hopefully) sensible adjudications. We’re ready for whatever comes next, and we’re honored to be in this work with you.

Warmly,
