Key Responsibilities

The Business Immigration Attorney will be responsible for supporting O-1, EB-1, and related business immigration matters, with a particular focus on extraordinary ability cases for professionals in the arts, entertainment, and technology industries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Consulting with potential new O-1 and EB-1 clients

  • Reviewing O-1A, O-1B, and EB-1A petitions for quality assurance

  • Corresponding with clients to answer legal questions

  • Supporting the Managing Attorney as needed

  • Reviewing documents and case materials for accuracy, strategy, and completeness

  • Helping ensure cases follow the firm’s established processes and procedures

  • Communicating with clients in a calm, helpful, and empathetic manner by phone, Zoom, and email

  • Participating in marketing activities, if interested or as needed

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the United States

  • Minimum of 5 years of business immigration experience

  • Significant experience overseeing and reviewing O-1A, O-1B, and EB-1A petitions

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform effective quality reviews

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong work ethic and genuine desire to achieve the best results for clients

  • Willingness to learn and follow firm processes and procedures

  • Interest in or knowledge of the arts, entertainment, and/or technology industries

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with National Interest Waiver cases

  • Willingness to participate in marketing activities

  • Experience working with artists, entertainers, creatives, entrepreneurs, or technology professionals

Work Schedule & Location

This position may be full-time or part-time.

The role may be hybrid in the firm’s Los Angeles office or remote, with preference for candidates located in or near Los Angeles, CA 90010.

Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time.
